Today, the need for interdisciplinary, scientific research to address compelling questions regarding media’s impact on child development is as urgent as ever. More than 8,000 parents, educators, clinicians, and others registered for the webinars, which garnered a Webby Awards nomination in the “Best Virtual & Remote – Health and Wellness” category. In total, we convened more than 210 interdisciplinary experts from around the world, including those at our Educational Technology and Virtual Learning Research Retreat in May, a groundbreaking four-day virtual conference that addressed pressing questions about education and technology use both inside and outside of the classroom.
