Resumen
La capacidad de las partes distantes para enviarse señales entre sí es un requisito fundamental en muchas tareas de procesamiento de información. Tal capacidad está determinada por la estructura causal que conecta a las partes y, más generalmente, por los procesos intermedios que llevan señales de un laboratorio a otro. Aquí construimos una teoría de recursos completa de conexión causal para todos los escenarios de comunicación de múltiples partes, que abarca aquellos en los que las partes operan en un orden causal definido y también donde el orden es indefinido. Definimos y caracterizamos el conjunto de procesos libres y tres conjuntos diferentes de transformaciones libres de los mismos, lo que da como resultado tres teorías distintas de recursos de conexión causal. En el escenario ordenado causalmente, identificamos los procesos más ingeniosos en los escenarios bipartito y tripartito. En el escenario general, en cambio, nuestros resultados sugieren que no existe un recurso global más valioso. Establecemos la robustez de la señalización como un recurso monótono de conexión causal y proporcionamos límites estrictos para muchos conjuntos de procesos pertinentes. Finalmente, presentamos una teoría de recursos de no separabilidad causal y mostramos que es, en contraste con el caso de la conexión causal, única. Juntos, nuestros resultados ofrecen un marco flexible y completo para cuantificar y transformar los procesos cuánticos generales, así como información sobre sus estructuras de conexión causal de múltiples capas.
