Cashaa käivitas algatuse, et võidelda India COVID-19 kriisiga

Crypto banking platform Cashaa is launching an initiative to provide food supplies to those most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in India. As a part of the global ‘crypto for COVID’ campaign, the team behind Cashaa is providing curated ration kits that can feed a family of 4 for up to 2 weeks.

Cashaa Launches Its Own Crypto for COVID Initiative

On 18th May, crypto banking platform Cashaa with physical branches across India announced the “Crypto for COVID” initiative that involves giving underprivileged families in India the food they need for a month.

The initiative has been launched by Cashaa CEO and founder, Kumar Gaurav, who claims that more than 12,000 people are dying from hunger daily due to “the havoc wreaked by the pandemic.”

“While COVID warriors are fighting the disease, a parallel action needs to be taken to catalyse the survival of the ones dealing with the issues that come along with this pandemic. It is impossible for one organisation, or government to serve all. Hence, there will always be a need for one more initiative to make a little more difference, for the very survival of all”, says Gaurav.

The initiative has already enabled support for a number of families in Rajasthan and has extended support to 2000 more underprivileged families in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

Cashaa aims to gradually support at least one 100,000 families under the initiative at the earliest

KuCoin Partners With Cashaa to Support India’s Pandemic Crisis

The initiative has already seen interest from foreign crypto players to support the COVID-19 crisis in India.

For instance, Singapore-based cryptocurrency exchange KuCoin teatas partnering with Cashaa to support the “crypto for COVID” campaign.

As part of its charity initiative in India, the crypto platform has pledged 2 million worth of food and daily supplies that will be delivered to the families in need with the help of Unicas, the world’s first crypto bank powered by Cashaa.
