Moy, who wore many hats within the Wall Street megabank, co-led the 2020 launch of blockchain unit Onyx, which عمل می کند a payments network named Liink as well as JPM Coin. She recently gained the title of global head of metaverse within the Onyx team. She has been with the firm for more than 18 years, according to her LinkedIn نمایه.

Moy—who is among the most prominent crypto Wall Streeters—played a role in bridging the gap between the Wild West world of cryptocurrencies and financial services, advocating for JPMorgan to bank crypto firms like Coinbase and Gemini, according her LinkedIn post. 

As The Block reported earlier this ماه, Moy helped develop the bank’s presence in the metaverse, setting up a lounge in Decentraland. 

“Our mission has been ‘to make the Impossible possible,'” she added. “I drive a team culture that is centered on being bold & resilient, challenging the status quo, and acting with urgency.”

Onyx’s head Umar Farooq announced Moy’s upcoming exit in a memo to staff. 

“Christine has been instrumental in building and leading JPMorgan’s blockchain program, dating back to 2015 when the blockchain team consisted of fewer than five people,” Farooq wrote in the memo, which was reviewed by The Block. “Fortunately, we have a very strong bench of exceptional leaders and experts in distributed ledger technology that will enable us to lead and innovate in this space in the future.” 

Sushil Raja—CFO and head of strategy for Onyx—will be taking on much of Moy’s responsibilities as global head of Liink, according to the memo. Raja previously was a management consultant at Oliver Wyman, where he advised financial technology firms, the memo added.
