बैंक ऑफ कोरिया ने सीबीडीसी परीक्षण का पहला चरण सफलतापूर्वक पूरा किया

बैंक ऑफ कोरिया ने अपनी डिजिटल मुद्रा के जारी करने और वितरण का पायलट परीक्षण प्रभावी ढंग से पूरा कर लिया है। यह भी कहा गया है कि बीओके के पास जून 2022 तक केंद्रीय बैंक डिजिटल मुद्रा परीक्षण कार्यक्रम तैयार हो जाएगा। बैंक ऑफ कोरिया ने दिसंबर में ही केंद्रीय बैंक डिजिटल मुद्रा के अपने दो-भाग मॉक परीक्षण के प्रमुख चरण को पूरा कर लिया है। पहले चरण का परीक्षण "सुचारू रूप से" पूरा करने के बाद बीओके अब अपने अगले चरण की ओर बढ़ गया है। परीक्षण का यह पहला चरण पिछले साल अगस्त महीने में शुरू हो चुका है।

Only after the conclusion of teh second stage of testing, बॉक will be able to start distributing and launching the CBDC by commercialising the same. In the first phase of testing, BOK had tested certain basic functionalities of the digital currency, mainly issues around the distribution and issuance of the currency. The first stage also was concerned with problems encountered while manufacturing the Digital Currency and running it in a simulation environment before launching this new form of money.

परीक्षण के पहले चरण के परिणामों के बाद, बीओके ने अन्य योजनाओं जैसे ऑफ़लाइन भुगतान और व्यक्तिगत सूचना सुरक्षा वृद्धि प्रौद्योगिकियों को शामिल करने की अपनी योजना भी निर्दिष्ट की।

The second phase of testing will now study and assess all the necessary technology which will be required for its final launch. This mainly will include wiring and payment in an offline environment along with testing cross-border and trading of the CBDCA. Post the completion of the second phase of testing, BOK would be carrying out an inspection by conducting usability research in conjunction with financial institutions.

सीबीडीसी के संभावित दुष्प्रभाव
