It’s been a much busier week here at Dorong Menara Persegi, dengan yang baru Pembaruan firmware PS5 dropping and the Etalase Resident Evil. To be honest, it’s a refreshing change for Sony to be keeping us on our toes. Unsurprisingly, then, we’re looking forward to the weekend. Here’s what we’re playing

I’ll be spending my entire weekend in the bullpen, as I stretch out MLB The Show 21. I may even dig out my Mets jersey to mark the occasion – especially seeing as they’re currently top of the NL East!

I’m slowly but surely making my way through Yakuza: Seperti Naga, but I’ve just secured review code for, wait for it, Bangunan Memiliki Perasaan Juga. So, Kasuga and the crew will have to wait while I put the city management game through its paces. I’m very curious to see how this one fares.

It’s PS2 Classic Konami time with 11 weekends left to buy retro games on the PS3’s PS Store. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find the meticulously designed Kontra: Prajurit yang Hancur on the UK’s store, so I’ve settled for the top-down, run-and-gun option of Neo Melawan instead. For my horizontal shmup fix, I’ve chosen Treasure and G.rev’s gloriously gorgeous Gradius V, plus both picks run at NTSC 60Hz, too.
