Riot Games released “Burn It All Down”, the animated theme song for the 2021 League of Legends Worlds performed by American alternative-pop band Pvris.
This year’s song has frantic, fast, and pulsating electronic melodies, making it a phenomenal entry alongside other Worlds songs. It creates a perfect hype for this upcoming LoL World Championship, set to begin on October 5, at Laugardalshöll venue in Reykjavik, Iceland.
Burn it All Down
This new music video undoubtedly set the ambiance, turning League of Legends pro players into anime heroes. The most prolific player in Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok makes a striking return after missing out on 2020. 2020 Worlds’ MVP Kim “Canyon” Geon-bu and this year’s top player, Kim “DoinB” Tae-sang also make an appearance.
The video centers around an underground fighting league, only accessible to LoL pro players. The central conflict revolves around Jeong ‘Chovy’ Ji-hoon of Hanwha Life Esports and midlaner Heo ‘ShowMaker’ Su of DWG KIA.
In addition, the style transforms into 3D towards the end, to showcase the recently released trailer of Arcane. This League of Legends’ animated series is set to release on Netflix in the near future. The series premiers immediately, with the LoL Championship concluding on November 6, 2021.
Werelden 2021
Every year, Riot releases a new World’s theme song to prepare players and fans worldwide for an upcoming championship. It partners with different artists, such as Imagine Dragons, Zedd, McKinnon, Nicky Taylor, and other popular names. The amazing animation work from Chinese studio Haoliners Animation League makes the song even more exciting.

This three-and-half minutes track, which follows LoL’s heavy electronic style and Lo-Fi bops is now available across major musical streaming platforms. Usually, bands like KDA offers an additional song during the event. However, there should be no supplementary song this time, and “Burn It All Down,” will dominate in the one-month event.
