What Is Shifting?

Shifting is the act of a human turning into a titan and then being able to control turning back into a human when needed… so it makes a useful ability to have.

How To Shift

First things first, you need to be in a family that allows you to shift (see below for the list!) from there, you need to have the highest difficulty rating in the game. To get this upgrade your weapons to their highest tier.

From here, you will be able to access your Attack Mastery on the menu, which showcases all of your titan skills. Hover over each skill to get more information about it. You can select five different titan skills to bring into battle with you, and they will appear in a small menu at the bottom of your screen. If you wish to use one, simply select it from the menu. When shifting into a titan, a small cut scene will play out, where you can see yourself getting transformed.

One of the best skills is the hardening, which, well… makes you toughened. This allows you to deal out stronger attacks and also ups your defence. Different families provide different titan perks. Some make you quicker, some let you jump higher – it all depends!

Families And Shifting

As you may know, different families in AOT Revolution come with different perks. Below is a list of all the current families that allow you to shift if you are a part of that family.

Yeager – -10% shifting cooldown. Gains +20% Attack Titan stats +15% Crit Chance.
Ackerman – Gains +20% DMG, +15% Crit Chance, +15% Crit DMG. +10% ODM Gas, +10% ODM Range, +10% ODM Control. Gains Double Jump, +1 Boost Dash.
Leonhart – +10% Titan run speed. +10% Female Titan stats, +10% DMG.
Tybur – Shifts last 10% longer. +10% Warhammer Titan stats. +10% Gold gain.
Arlert – +10% Colossal Titan stats. Colossal Titan AoE +20%. Gains +10% Crit Chance.
Reiss – Gain 10% Titan stats. +5% XP, +5% Gold, -10% Upgrade costs. Gains +5% XP and Gold for party members.
Galliard – +10% Titan attack speed. +10% Jaw Titan stats, +10% Crit DMG.
