Following the IPL 2024 finals, the Kolkata Knight Riders captured their third IPL title. They crush down the Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets on Sunday at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chepauk, Chennai.

This Monday, May 27, 2024, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and its secretary, Jay Shah, just announced one of the nicest pieces of news to date. The BCCI secretary, formally declared that the groundsmen and curators of the ten regular IPL venues will receive an amount of Rs 25 lakh each.

While the ground staff members of the three additional venues will receive an amount of Rs 10 lakh each.

The 10 regular venues for the 2024 season of the Indian Premier League are the following:

Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi, Lucknow, Bengaluru, Jaipur and Ahmedabad.

The three additional venues that were used in the IPL 2024 are Guwahati, Visakhapatnam, and Dharamsala.
