Bitget Crypto Exchange Signs Sponsorship Deal With Galatasaray

Bitget Crypto Exchange signs a new sponsorship deal with soccer club Galatasaray from Turkey as the next soccer club that made a deal with the crypto company so let’s read further in today’s latest cryptocurrency news.

The Singapore-based crypto platform became the official sponsor of the soccer club Galatasaray and the latter will feature teh company as the main crypto partner on multiple platforms and media assets.  The most successful soccer club in Turkey made a sponsorship deal with Bitget crypto exchange for the 2021/22 season and the platform will serve as an official crypto partner of the Galatasaray’s basketball squad as well:

“The mutually beneficial relationship allows crypto exchanges to leverage well-known sports teams to build brand awareness and enable sports fans to learn about the evolving crypto trend.”

Bitget’s CEO Sandra Lou praised Turkey as the biggest leader in the digital asset sector in the region. In her view, the nation showed huge interest and continues to lead education sharing opportunities in the digital asset field. Commenting on the collaboration was the club’s Vice President Bikem Kanik who explained that the club chose Bitget because of the leading position in the industry while also saying it fits their vision.

Bitget puts its name next to other prominent companies that serve as backers of the soccer club and these include Sixt, Turkish Airlines, Nike, and Burger King. The exchange made its first interaction with the soccer world in 2021 and back then it became the official crypto partner and sleeve sponsor of the Italian giant Juventus. The Chief Revenue Officer Giorgio Ricci said:

“It is a pleasure to welcome Bitget as the first Juventus sleeve partner and help them increase their awareness across our fanbase worldwide.”

Similar to other sectors, diving into the crypto industry became a trend among soccer teams as we saw already that FC Milan partnered with BitMEX to introduce the latter as an official sleeve partner and official crypto partner. A few months later, the Argentina Football Association collaborated with ByBit which served as the Global Main sponsor of the selections until November 2023. The most successful English Soccer Club Manchester United joined the club by shaking hands with Tezos, and about $27 million of the deal will be put into the blockchain platform’s logo on the training apparel. Manchester United already started promoting the marketing initiative.
