Covid Dogs Worth More Than Cocaine

Source Node: 807736

Did you know that a dog is worth more than a kilo of cocaine?

The neighborhood is alive with folks walking their “Covid dogs.”

Almost every family on the block has a new pooch.

So, of course the dog-napping rate has skyrocketed.

It’s apparently particularly acute in the UK, according to the Washington Post, where modern day Cruella Daville’s are sneaking into yards and even robbing people at knife point.

Females are highly prized by the robbers as they can be sold to puppy mills for a higher price or just used to make more product.

A British lawyer who prosecutes dog thieves noted that “a litter of a half-dozen pups could yield 10,000 pounds (nearly $14,000).”

So, a word to the wise, keep a close eye on Fluffy.
