Here’s how you can stun enemies in Dota 2 with Vengeful Spirit using Magic Missile.

Vengeful Spirit is a support hero in Dota 2 who can assist her allies in getting more kills throughout the game. The Agility hero has an attack range of 400 on her physical attacks, letting Vengeful Spirit strike enemy creeps and heroes without taking considerable damage during battles. She has a base Agility of 20 and gains a massive 3.2 Agility per level.

The ranged hero has a base mana pool of 303, giving her ample mana to cast spells in lanes. A majority of the people who choose Vengeful Spirit in Dota 2 matches opt to farm in the off lane for easy gold. The off lane is closer to the Secret Shop, letting Vengeful Spirit pick up items to restore her health and mana as she levels up in the off lane.

Magic Missile is the most important spell that Vengeful Spirit can use in her games. Vengeful Spirit can cast a Magic Missile on an enemy unit to deal up to 360 damage to her foes in team fights. Enemy units stunned by Magic Missile are disabled for up to 1.7 seconds. Magic Missile has a cooldown of 9 seconds and consumes 130 mana per cast. The Agility hero has a projectile speed of 1500, allowing Vengeful Spirit to stun enemies at an increased rate to interrupt channeling abilities.

You can use Magic Missile with Vengeful Spirit to interrupt heroes like Lion from using Mana Drain or Sand King from casting his ulti, Epicenter, in Dota 2 matches. The low mana cost of Magic Missile lets Vengeful Spirit nuke enemy heroes in a lane and forces them to retreat to their fountain. Magic Missile has a cast range of 650, making it convenient for Vengeful Spirit to use Magic Missile during battles to stun her opponents.

The Talent Tree can help players strengthen Magic Missile while playing Vengeful Spirit in Dota 2 games. Players can increase the cast range of Magic Missile from 650 to 775 at level 10. You can further decrease the cooldown of Magic Missile by 2 seconds at level 15 through the Talent Tree. Vengeful Spirit can reach level 20 to increase the damage dealt using Magic Missile to 560 per cast. Magic Missile can also be made to pierce spell immunity at level 25, letting Vengeful Spirit cast Magic Missile on carry heroes like Lifestealer and Juggernaut who can become immune to spells using their abilities.

Vengeful Spirit can use Wave of Terror to weaken enemy units in the lane. She can decrease the armor of enemy units by 6 for every Wave of Terror Vengeful Spirit can cast in battles. Wave of Terror deals up to 130 damage to multiple enemy units and provides vision of the targeted unit for up to 4 seconds. The active ability, Wave of Terror, has a cooldown of 10 seconds and requires 40 mana to be used in the game. You can use Wave of Terror before casting Magic Missile on enemy heroes to increase the amount of damage dealt to your opponents with her abilities.

The support hero can level up Vengeance Aura to increase the base attack damage of herself and her allies by up to 32%. Vengeance Aura affects all allied units in a radius of 1200, turning her allies into killing machines while around Vengeful Spirit during team fights. You can increase the attack damage bonus of Vengeance Aura by 16% at level 25 through the Talent Tree. People can deliver a few hits from a distance using Vengeful Spirit after unlocking Vengeance Aura to deal more damage to enemy units before casting Magic Missile to stun them.

Her ulti, Nether Swap, lets Vengeful Spirit swap the positions on any enemy unit or an allied unit on the map. Similar to Magic Missile, Vengeful Spirit can cast Nether Swap on enemy units to interrupt their channeling abilities. Nether Swap has a cast range of 1100. Allied units swapped by Vengeful Spirit using Nether Swap take up to 50% less damage from enemy attacks for 3 seconds. Nether Swap has a cooldown of 30 seconds and consumes 200 mana per cast. You can decrease the cooldown of Vengeful Spirit’s ulti, Nether Swap, by 15 seconds at level 20.

The best strategy to use Nether Swap in team fights is by swapping enemy units using Vengeful Spirit’s ulti and casting Magic Missile to stun them. Swapped enemy units will be stunned for 1.7 seconds, giving your allies plenty of time to destroy your opponents in battles. You can cast Wave of Terror before using Nether Swap on enemy units to increase the damage dealt by Vengeful Spirit in Dota 2.
