Here are some of the Dota 2 heroes with the highest win rate following the arrival of Patch 7.33c.

Dota 2 fans from all over the world were shocked when Valve announced the 7.33 patch. The latter brought tons of changes to the game, and it affected the map, meta, MMR system, items, heroes, and more. Although some people were skeptical about the changes, there is no arguing they made the game a lot more interesting.

It’s been almost 2 weeks since The New Frontiers Update came out, meaning pro and casual players alike had the chance to play. In other words, we have enough data to look at and determine the Dota 2 heroes with the highest win rate in 7.33c so far.

Before taking a look at the list, keep in mind that we are in the middle of The ESL One Berlin Major 2023. Needless to say, this is the first big event on the new patch, so it will definitely have an effect on the meta once it is over.

The first and undoubtedly the most successful Dota 2 hero in Patch 7.33c so far is Medusa. The legendary hard carry was one of the names that received tons of changes after The New Frontiers Update. However, it seems like these changes weren’t for the better because the hero wasn’t popular at all.

Thankfully, Valve decided to buff her even more in 7.33c, which is why if we take a look at her current stats, we will be blown away. When writing this article, Medusa is the most successful Dota 2 hero with a 60%+ win rate. What’s even more impressive is that the hero gained more than a 17% win rate this week alone. Needless to say, she is exceptionally strong and one of the best options for pubs and pro games.

The Dota 2 patch 7.33c buffed Dusa in many ways. For example, she starts with 27 base INT instead of 23, and her split shot deals 85% outgoing damage instead of 75% on level 4. Mystic Snake now has a 22% Main Gain, whereas Mana Shield absorbs even more mana, and the illusions also benefit from it.

To be honest, we don’t expect these changes to remain like that in the future because it is safe to say the hero is broken. People who know how to use her can easily carry their team.

The second name on the list regarding the most successful Dota 2 heroes in patch 7.33c so far is Underlord. One of the best aura carriers in the game has around a 56% win rate, which is impressive for a hero who relies on his team to win.

Since Underlord hasn’t been a part of the meta in some time now, Valve decided to buff him in The New Frontiers Update. The hero’s Firestorm and Fiend’s Gate became even better, whereas his Atrophy Aura received small nerfs.

Although we didn’t expect these changes to make the hero the go-to offlaner in the PUB meta, following almost 2 weeks, it’s safe to say he is among the best. Valve has noticed it, so 7.33c nerfed his aura and Fiend’s Gate.

Despite the changes, Underlord continues to be one of the best heroes in the game right now. That said, we can see that his win rate is slightly lower than last week.

If there is a Dota 2 hero in patch 7.33c capable of carrying his teammates to victory, it has to be Meepo. Generally speaking, he is one of the best options you can get if you want to reach a certain MMR. Despite being one of the most complex heroes in the game, he has the firepower to win almost any matchup. No wonder his win rate is around 55.50%.

If we look at Meepo after The New Frontiers Update, we can see that he received tons of changes. Starting with Poof, this ability can be on autocast, meaning the hero is much easier to use than before. Dig is also new because you can only get this ability with a shard (this means that Divided We Stand is no longer upgradable with the shard). The new dig lasts 3s, and the HP restore is down from 50% to 35%.

Aside from that, Meepo players who get an Aghs Scetper also have access to “Mega Meepo”. This ability makes Meepo even more dangerous and easier to play, but the Dota 2 patch 7.33b nerfed it a bit because the hero can no longer pull Meepos away from Duels, Chronospheres, and Black Hole. We are not surprised by this change because this made Meepo one of the best Dota 2 heroes in the game.

With around a 55% win rate, the next place on the list for the Dota 2 heroes with the highest win rate in patch 7.33c is for Riki. This universal hero can fit in numerous roles, but Valve decided to nerf him a bit in the latest update. This had an effect on the hero’s win rate, which dropped by almost 4% in just a week.

Riki’s changes in 7.33c affected his Some Screen, which now provides less armor reduction with an Aghs. Blink Strike’s slow duration is also lower than usual, and Riki’s Cloak and Dagger now provide less Agi damage multiplier and can’t do damage to the Tormentors. Aside from that, Riki also received various talent changes.

In the end, the hero is still pretty good and will continue to be a key part of the meta. However, it will be exciting to see his win rate in the future because we expect it ti go down a little bit more before it bounces back.

Remember that the new patch 7.33c arrived just a few hours ago. Consequently, we expect to see a lot of changes in the upcoming days, so make sure to follow us for more information.
