The Concussion Legacy Foundation Canada (CLFC) is hosting a $10K USD Fortnite tournament to conclude its Brains and Brawn livestream fundraiser.
The streamathon began on June 28 and the CLFCand raises awareness about the study, treatment, and prevention of brain trauma in Canadian athletes, military personnel and other at-risk groups.
While the two-week fundraiser ends on July 9, the two-day $10K USD Fortnite tournament will follow on July 10 and July 11. Registration is open now, and for just a minor $20 USD donation, players can enter into the competition, where they’ll compete for a $3K USD grand prize. Brains and Brawn $10K Fortnite Tournament Format
The Brains & Brawn tournament utilizes the solo format, meaning every player for themselves. It begins on July 10 with Groups Stage, where 1,000 players will compete in six matches. The top 99 from day one will move into the finals for another six games and a chance to win a piece of the prize pool at stake. CLFC will host this tournament on NA East servers.

Here is the tournament scoring system, which applies to both days:
- 1st: 30 Points
- 2nd: 25 Points
- 3rd: 22 Points
- 4th: 20 Points
- 5th: 19 Points
- 6th: 17 Points
- 7th: 16 Points
- 8th: 15 Points
- 9th: 14 Points
- 10th: 13 Points
- 11th-15th: 11 Points
- 16th-20th: 9 Points
- 21st-25th: 7 Points
- 26th-30th: 5 Points
- 31st-35th: 4 Points
- 36th-40th: 3 Points
- 41st-50th: 2 Points
- 51st-75th: 1 Point
- Eliminations: 1 Point Each
Brains and Brawn $10K Fortnite Tournament Prize Distribution
As previously mentioned, the tournament boasts a $10K USD prize pool paying out to the top eight players in the finals.
Here is the prize pool breakdown:
- 1st Place: $3,000
- 2nd Place: $2,000
- 3rd Place: $1,500
- 4th Place: $1,200
- 5th Place: $1,000
- 6th Place: $600
- 7th Place: $300
- 8th Place: $100
- Greenberg Gluster MVP: $300
Participants who donate and enter the tournament will have a chance to win one of the following prizes:

Rules & How to Register
Players looking to compete in the tournament need to be at least 13 years of age. Prize acceptance for those under the age of 18 will require a parental signature. For more rules, refer to the tournament rule book.
