Games to Watch
The LCS schedule for Week 5 kicks off with two incredibly important matches in terms of playoff implications. TSM versus Dignitas and 100 Thieves versus Evil Geniuses will both help shake out (or further muddy up) the top four teams in the LCS. And the 100 Thieves game will, obviously, have a bit more intrigue with the late news that Ry0ma will be subbed in for Damonte.
On Day 2, it’s a matchup of the top two teams in our power rankings as C9 and TL clash for the second time. This is one of the few C9 losses on the year, so they will no doubt be looking to exact revenge and cement themselves as the best team in the LCS.
For the final day of games, Cloud9 is featured yet again as they take on TSM. At this point, the game could be critical in a number of ways. It could either allow C9 to outright clinch the first seed, be a battle for TSM to hold onto a top-four position, or even be a battle between the two for that top spot in the standings.
