Lost Judgment Detailed And Dated For Xbox And PlayStation

We’ve had a ton of Yakuza games release on Xbox over the last year or so, and we’ve recently seen Judgment spin-off to great effect. Now though SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio are confirming that Lost Judgment will be coming to Xbox and PlayStation – giving not just all the details you will need, but that all-important release date too.

The sequel to the critically acclaimed Judgment, Lost Judgment will be arriving on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4 and PS5 in September, with a 24th September 2021 release date confirmed. It’ll be found in both digital and physical fashion.

Lost Judgment will weave in elements of detective sleuthing, noir narrative and action combat into one highly anticipated mystery thriller, with the focus firmly placed on private eye Takayuki Yagami who defends those the law fails to protect. Joined by his ex-yakuza partner, Masaharu Kaito, this duo will be called upon to work out what has happened with a seemingly perfect crime; one in which the main suspect as the most ardent of alibis. Expect to see a tale of revenge unfold from there on out as you, Yagami and Kaito discover the truth within.

Lost Judgment will cover the usual bases of any Yakuza styled product – you’ll be found utilising the most intense of martial arts moves in style, taking down targets and harnessing the power of some of the greatest of moves. With the detective side of things ever detailed, and the lands of downtown Tokyo and Yokohama ripe for exploration, there is quite obviously much hype surrounding what SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio are able to come up with.

Features in depth will include:

Law and Disorder – Lost Judgment once again puts players in the sneakers of lawyer turned street-fighting detective Takayuki Yagami. Joined by his partner, ex-yakuza Masaharu Kaito, the crime-fighting duo is called on to investigate a seemingly perfect crime whose lead suspect has an airtight alibi. What starts out as a tale of revenge reveals a tangled web of conspiracy involving several unlikely factions taking advantage of a broken law system. But as victims pile up and Yagami unravels the truth, he must choose between defending the law or exacting justice.
Freeform Combat – Yagami’s mastery of martial arts allows him to stylishly overcome any situation from group ambushes to single-target takedowns. Harness Crane, Tiger, and the new Snake style, a graceful style that can deflect and return an opponent’s strikes, using their energy against them.
Investigative Action – Yagami’s arsenal of detective tricks grows with new gadgets, crafty methods of infiltration and ways to stealthily track suspects. Leave no stone unturned in pursuit of the truth.
