While many are still enjoying Madden 21, we can already look ahead to later this year and the hopeful release of the first Madden 22 trailer.
EA Sports will want to get the excitement rolling ahead of the Madden 22 release date, and as such we can expect several Madden 22 trailers in the coming months.
Madden 22 Reveal Trailer
The first big Madden 22 trailer we expect to see is be the official reveal trailer.
Last year, the official trailer landed on Tuesday, June 16, 2020, and as such we can likely expect the official reveal trailer for Madden 22 to be released close to Tuesday, June 15, 2021.
Other trailers should follow, such as last year when we saw trailers for the cover athlete and next gen in the days after the official reveal trailer.

Gameplay Trailer
We could see a unique gameplay trailer for Madden 22 this year, but Madden 21 wrapped the gameplay trailer in with the official reveal trailer.
Seeing the two combined is possible, but if there are some major gameplay updates for the game they could drop a separate gameplay trailer.
We may also get to look ahead at other modes with trailers for Franchise Mode or Madden Ultimate Team, but only time will tell.

Next Gen Trailer
Last year, EA Sports dropped a combined Next Gen trailer for both FIFA 21 and Madden 21 on June 18, 2020.
While they may go the combo route again this year, Madden 22 getting its own Next Gen trailer feels more likely.
Exactly how Madden 22 continues to capitalize on and utilize Next Gen technology remains to be seen, but a Next Gen trailer will surely have great insight into that.

Cover Athlete Announcement Trailer
The third trailer revealed for Madden 21 focused on Lamar Jackson, who was chosen as the Madden 21 cover athlete.
With that remaining a big reveal for each title, we can probably expect a Madden 22 cover athlete announcement and trailer around June 17, 2021.
There is already speculation on who might get the nod as cover athlete this year, and we’ve got details on all the contenders for Madden 22.
