Melania Trump will launch a POTUS NFT collection on Presidents Day as a way of celebrating Trump’s presidency so let’s read further in today’s cryptocurrency news today.

After the controversy around her own NFT, Melania Trump will launch a POTUS NFT collection that will arrive in four days and will celebrate Donald Trump’s presidency. Mrs. Trump announced on social media that the latest NFT collection coming from her family and in this case, it will actually be her husband, the former President Donald Trump. The collection will drop on February 21st known as the Official Presidents Day in the States.

The POTUS Trump NFT Collection will consist of 10 original pieces of digital artwork that will highlight the iconic moments of Trump’s administration such as the July 4th visit to Mount Rushmore and celebrating Christmas at the White House. There will be 10,000 NFTs tiered into platinum and gold levels according to Melania’s post. She promised investors will be able to enjoy an element of surprise as the artwork of every NFT is revealed after the purchase. She commented:

“I am proud to expand upon my NFT platform and am honored to be able to recognize important moments in our Nation’s history. I look forward to collaborating with others to offer truly special, authentic parts of US history.”

It’s worth noting that she launched her NFT venture last year based on Solana. She had an NFT collection of her own but the on-chain data revealed that the funds that bought it came from her own wallet. It is somewhat a surprise that Donald Trump decided to join the NFT bandwagon because he bashed the cryptocurrency industry for a while now.

As recently reported, According to the press release, the former first lady of the USA Melania Trump launched an NFT that will be available to purchase for a limited period between December 16 and December 31. According to the December 16 press release, Trump’s Non-fungible tokens are watercolor art depicting her eyes and it utilizes the Solana blockchain so it means it will accept both the native token of the project and credit card payments on MoonPay. The price of one single digital collectible is set at 1 SOL or $180 and includes an audio recording from her with a hopeful message.
