Michael B. Jordan takes on Russian terrorists as well as his own government in the latest trailer for Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse. In the Amazon Prime Video movie, Jordan plays ex-Navy SEAL John Kelly, the United States’ most dangerous soldier, who is sidelined after a tragic past.

The trailer opens with Kelly in prison for reasons that aren’t quite clear. After fighting off a squad of guards inside his tiny cell, Kelly gets a phone call from the government saying that his country needs him. A Russian terrorist group from Kelly’s past has resurfaced, and the U.S. wants him to take them down.

But Kelly isn’t getting the whole story — obviously, since it’s based on a Tom Clancy book. It’s just enough story to set up Michael B. Jordan to fight as many people as possible. And that definitely happens in this trailer.

In Tom Clancy’s lore, John Kelly eventually changes his name to John Clark and goes on to become the leader of Rainbow Six, the famous international counter-terrorism unit and the namesake of Ubisoft’s tactical shooter franchise.

Without Remorse is written by Taylor Sheridan, who also wrote movies like Hell or Highwater, both Sicario movies, and the TV series Yellowstone. The movie is directed by Stefano Sollima, who previously worked with Sheridan’s script on Sicario: Day of the Soldado. Without Remorse also stars Jodie Turner-Smith (Queen and Slim), Jamie Bell (Snowpiercer), and Guy Pearce (Memento, Iron Man 3).

Without Remorse is set to release on Amazon Prime Video on April 30.
