FIA Region I has launched the 3rd edition of its FIA Startup Challenge – applications are open until 31 March! The challenge aims to connect innovative startups with promising mobility and assistance solutions to the extensive FIA Region I network – that’s over 36 million people.

Now for the third year, FIA Region I have just opened the call for innovative mobility and assistance solutions to apply for its annual startup challenge. It’s looking for innovative ideas that address consumers’ daily needs, leaving a positive lasting impact through mobility. Participating startups will be able to connect with the wider FIA Region I network, which includes 100 Mobility Clubs and a member base of over 36 million people.

FIA’s Mobility Clubs are trustworthy brands and have a strong membership base, built over the years thanks to a wide range of services. They are constantly looking for new ways to assist members in their daily lives. By connecting with Clubs, this challenge gives startups a special chance to test their ideas, get valid feedback and access large markets. FIA Region I includes Europe, the Middle East and Africa – giving ambitious startups plenty of space to grow.

FIA Startup Challenge 2023

This year’s challenge features four categories:

  • Cars
  • Mobility
  • Assistance
  • Road Safety

Startups with innovative ideas on car-related services, mobility services, or wider assistance services – such as home, health, lifestyle, or personal assistance – are invited to rise up to the challenge. Solutions that address consumers’ daily needs are very welcome – it’s about supporting those who can impact this evolving space.

The Challenge is an excellent opportunity for startups to reach a wide network, increase visibility, and possibly find qualified partners to test and launch their ideas. Selected teams will be able to meet business development experts and marketing professionals of leading Mobility Clubs of the network, and will be invited to attend an in-person event in October 2023 to present their solutions.

The Criteria

To be eligible, startups need to have at least a proof of concept or a minimum viable product and have a full-time CEO and CTO (Chief Technology Officer) or equivalent. Throughout 2023, they will benefit from multiple opportunities to pitch their ideas to FIA Region I’s mobility Club experts, business development staff and decision-makers.

Apply here today! Applications are open until March 31st.
