Oasis Gaming Welcomes Metasports as Co-Owner to Strengthen Philippine Esports Communities

Metasports, an organization, content hub, and media agency covering the esports and the web3 gaming industry, announced recently that they joined the Philippine-based esports and the web3 gaming organization Oasis as its co-owner.

Supporting Oasis Gaming’s mission

Aside from co-ownership, Metasports expressed that their goal is to support Oasis Gaming’s mission as the destination for gaming and esports communities in the Philippines and beyond. Moreover, it also looks forward to enhancing the organization’s business foundation by further focusing on co-building robust strategies to help Oasis “navigate the turbulent market in esports and create the best creator and competitive experiences for its community and fans.”

“This year, innovation is the goal of our organization. Through this partnership with Metasports, we look forward to exploring new growth strategies and at the same time strengthening the culture we have been nurturing ever since we started. Joe and Lars have been great partners to work with and we are excited for what’s in store for Oasis this 2023 and the coming years,” said Oasis Gaming co-founders, Arra Baron and Clara Crisostomo

Metasports is on the lookout for new IPs.

On the other hand, Metasports CEO Joe Josue also expressed his enthusiasm for their new venture noting that Metasports is always on the lookout for great gaming IPs. 

He added that Oasis Gaming was an exciting organization to watch grow from the outside. Metasports highlighted that they were pleased to have the opportunity to support its next step. 

“[Oasis Gaming] have found partners, a community, and a brand that they believe will be impactful to gamers for years to come,” he concluded.

Metasports, BlockchainSpace, and Kookoo TV

Last month, data aggregator BlockchainSpace (BSPC) announced its acquisition of the majority of IP House Metasports to “make waves in web3 and bring value to its stakeholders for years to come.” (Read more: BlockchainSpace Scores Majority of Shares of Metasports)

Last year, Metasports also established its Creator Business Management which was jump started with famous content creator KookooTV as their first creator partner. The partnership aimed to develop a new blueprint for web3 content creator management and bridge professionalism from web2 standards to the next-gen profile of web3 gaming content creators. What is Oasis Gaming?

It is an organization mainly focused on competitive gaming and content creation. Recently,  they secured the national representation in the Southeast Asia Games for the 5-v-5 first-person shooting (FPS) game Valorant, and is currently enjoying a 5W-1L record in the Valorant Challengers Tour PH. 

Recently, Oasis Gaming had a partnership with street art and non-fungible token artist Distort Monsters for their merchandise.
