Programmable Cash Stream Protocol Zebec Raises $15M

Solana-based programmable cash stream protocol Zebec has raised $15 million in a Series A round led by Solana Ventures and Distributed Global. Scaling Zebec’s DeFi Payment Solution Other participants in the round included Lightspeed Venture Partners, Circle, Coinbase, Alameda Research, OKX Blockdream Ventures, DST Global Partners, Road Ventures, Global Founders Capital, BECO Capital, Greenoaks, GoldenTree Asset Management among others. With the proceeds, the protocol plans to continue scaling its Zebec DeFi payment solution. “We are incredibly excited to support the Zebec team and community as they build a foundational payment streaming layer on Solana that unlocks a variety of use cases,” said Matthew Beck, Partner, Solana Ventures. This is Zebec’s second funding since last year, when the firm raised $6 million in a funding round co-led by Republic Capital. With the latest funding, the total amount of investments in Zebec has gone up to $21 million. Over 250 Projects on Zebec Protocol Zebec Protocol is the first programmable cash flow protocol on Solana, enabling real-time and continuous streams of payments and financial transactions for payroll, investments, and more.  The automatic money streams through the Zebec Protocol allow businesses, employees, and consumers to reimagine how they are paid, how they invest, and how they buy products or services. Just months after launching, there have been already over 250 projects on the Zebec protocol.
