In a recent announcement, Toyota said that it would begin selling vehicle insurance along with cars, allowing consumers to save time and hassle in the often drawn-out process of buying a car. Toyota is not alone; in fact many automakers are now moving into vehicle insurance, a trend popularized by electric vehicle maker Tesla, and a market worth about $311 billion in the U.S. alone.
