Update: Riot Games has clarified that its deal with Sony is a collaboration for this song rather than a full partnership
Riot Games MENA announced a partnership Wednesday with Sony Music Entertainment Middle East for a special Arabic music video that will include the region’s most popular music artists such as Moroccan rapper Issam Harris, Egyptian Trap star, Marwan Moussa, and female vocalist Fafa from UAE.
Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed.
“Anta Al Batal” is the name of the song produced by Riot Games MENA and Sony Music Entertainment Middle East which translates in English as “You Are The Champion.”
The concept behind this partnership is to celebrate the growth of esports in the region and make this new song an anthem for professional and semi-pro tournaments for Valorant, but most importantly it’s to show Riot’s commitment to Arabic gamers.
