RippleX Confirms Testing for NFT Support on XRP Ledger

RippleX, the development arm of the distributed ledger company, has confirmed that its team of developers is now confident in the XRP Ledger’s ability to support the XLS-20 standard for non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The company also announced plans to post the testing results for everyone to analyze. Efficiency was top of mind when drafting the XLS-20 proposal to bring native NFT support to the #XRPL. Each of these accounts was tasked with minting 20 NFTs each, bringing the total to 20 million NFTs minted. To measure the throughput offer for each NFT was created and then accepted, making two transactions in the process. The workload was found to be handled within 751 seconds. Test Result Available to Access RippleX also measured a mixture of XRP payments and NFT offers, along with NFT minting, which included four transactions, two XRP payments, and a pair of transactions for offer and acceptance. The workload was found to handle 1,064 seconds. A detailed description of the testing methodologies and the test results can be accessed here.
