Late last year, Immortal Rogue developer Kyle Barret announced the tactical arcade shooter Blast Waves ($3.99) for iOS and Android. Today, he reveals that his upcoming roguelike hack and slash game Ultra Blade is due this summer for both iOS and Android with beta testing set for this week. Ultra Blade has you taking on endless hordes of enemies with thousands of hero and blade combinations with unique abilities and looks. It has simple controls, but likely feels great to play going by his earlier games. Watch the Ultra Blade teaser gameplay video below:

If the video wasn’t enough, the official website has some GIFs showcasing the animation and gameplay in motion. Ultra Blade also features a challenge mode with more challenging quests that regenerate each hour in addition to its endless mode. At launch it will have six unique biomes, many bosses, and more. It is due this summer for $3.99 with pre-orders likely beginning soon once the beta testing starts progressing. Beta testing will be available in our forums this week.
