Sartorius’s IT hiring activity declines 15.0% in August 2021

Germany-based company Sartorius IT hiring declined 15.0% in August 2021 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 17.91% in August 2021 when compared with July 2021.

IT jobs claimed an 11.2% share in the company’s total hiring activity in August 2021, and recorded a 0.94% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Sartorius IT hiring in August 2021

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Sartorius, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 82.57% in August 2021, and a 35.25% drop over July 2021, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 5.5% in August 2021, and registered growth of 100%. Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 4.59% in August 2021, a 70.59% drop from July 2021.

North America drives IT hiring at Sartorius

North America emerged as the leading region in the global medical IT hiring activity in August 2021 with a 45.87% share, which marked a 26.47% drop over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 26.61%, registering a 42% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 25.69% share and a 60.56% drop over July 2021.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 1.83% and a month-on-month increase of 100%.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s medical industry IT hiring activity with a 40.37% share in August 2021, a 32.31% decline over July 2021. India featured next with a 19.27% share, down 48.78% over the previous month. Germany recorded a 16.51% share, a decline of 58.14% compared with July 2021.

Junior Level jobs lead Sartorius IT hiring activity in August 2021

Junior Level jobs held a share of 68.81%, down by 44.03% from July 2021. Entry Level positions with an 18.35% share, a decline of 4.76% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 12.84% share, down 60% over July 2021.
