Inspired by the likes of Silent Hill, The Glass Staircase is a surreal and atmospheric horror that has now released on Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.

Available right now as the latest to land on console via the Puppet Combo team is The Glass Staircase. It’s priced at £8.39 and is fully optimised for Xbox Series X|S. Playable on Xbox One if you so prefer, you’ll also find it on the digital stores of PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.

Will you climb the staircase?

This is a game that first released on PC back in 2019, whisking us off to a dilapidated estate. This place has been converted into an orphanage, as we find four girls attempting to survive, just long enough to complete their chores and find a new home.

The thing is, unknowable horrors have punctuated the history of the house, and those girls are about to learn about them, the hard way…

Whilst this is a game that has been inspired by PS2 survival horror classics such as Silent Hill and GameCube’s venerable Eternal Darkness, the narrative stylings in place are much more in line with Italian zombie horror movies; The Beyond, House by the Cemetery, and Suspiria.
