TrustFord has opened a newly refurbished PartsPlus Centre and Aftersales Contact Centre in Thurrock, following an investment of £1.2 million in the site.

The PartsPlus Centre supports the sale of trade parts directly to franchise groups, independent repairers, and body shops. The redevelopment includes a new mezzanine floor, additional storage racking to increase the warehouse storage capacity, a new conveyor belt which will reduce manual handling and improvements to the building’s façade, including LED Lighting.

Outside the centre, improvements have also been made to the car parking facilities and there is plenty of space for visiting guests and colleagues on site.

In addition to the operational investment, the redevelopment offers an enlarged and enhanced office space for the dealer group’s Call Centre Team, that recently relocated to the newly refurbished PartsPlus Centre in Thurrock.

Stuart Mustoe, chief executive officer of TrustFord, said: “At TrustFord we’re always looking for ways to drive the standard in customer care.  The redevelopment of the PartsPlus Centre in Thurrock provides us with the scale and resources to meet our customers’ parts needs today, and into the future.

“We are also delighted to provide brand new facilities for our Aftersales Contact Centre colleagues.

“I’m especially proud of everyone who worked hard to get the site ready to open and are so committed to providing the very highest levels of customer care.”

Mustoe was appointed the new chief executive of AM100 dealer group TrustFord earlier this month. He was finance director previously and had been acting chairman and chief executive of the Ford-owned motor retailer since the retirement of Stuart Foulds in February 2022. Foulds sadly died five months later.
