Vigilant Aerospace Presenting FlightHorizon Airspace Management for Integration Pilot Program Operations at Alaska “North to the Future” Event

Vigilant Aerospace Systems’ Integration Pilot Program (IPP) partners from the University of Alaska Fairbanks are launching their IPP operations with announcements on regulatory progress and presentations from IPP partners at the annual Alaska UAS Interest Group’s annual “North to the Future” conference on Sept. 25, 26 and 27 at the Lakefront Anchorage Hotel in Anchorage, Alaska.

The Alaska IPP team, led by the Alaska Center for Unmanned Aircraft Systems Integration (ACUASI) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, will be providing updates on upcoming IPP flights, resources, and initiatives. Read more about the Alaska IPP team here.

Members of the UAF Alaska Center for Unmanned Aircraft Systems Integration being recognized as a selected team for the FAA’s UAS Integration Pilot Program at the official IPP press event held in Washington, D.C.

On the first day of the conference, Vigilant Aerospace will be giving a presentation about the use of the company’s FlightHorizon product to provide airspace management, traffic alerts and warnings, and detect-and-avoid functions as a part of the IPP flights.

This presentation is part of the “Policy & Regulation” track which will focus on the regulatory landscape and the expected impact of the IPP on the State of Alaska.

The “North to the Future” conference will feature multiple presentations from members of the Alaska IPP team including details on the resources and technologies supporting the team’s operations.
