He asserted that his current and past employments have played a crucial role in shaping their knowledge and understanding of the technology space.

Genove disclosed that his firsthand experience with blockchain, gained from previous employment, served as the starting point for learning and comprehending the workings of these technologies and their potential financial implications for the future.

When asked what sets “Blockchain Navigator’s Handbook” apart from other books on blockchain technology that are currently available in the market, he highlighted that the handbook had dropped the technical or economic discussions common in other blockchain literature and instead opted for relatable real-life stories.

“This book tries to break down the jargon into something more digestible for its audience: actual & real-life stories. These stories written are intended for readers to relate easily and reverberate, allowing them to have the basic understanding of how to start.”

He also added that to accommodate the diverse audience interested in blockchain, the approach taken differed from traditional authorship. Genova emphasized that rather than solely drawing from personal experience, the book is crafted from the collective experiences of various individuals and groups which ensures that the book can effectively cater to the needs of readers at different levels of expertise.

Furthermore, Genove also recognized that individuals attempting to enter the blockchain industry may become disoriented due to the rapid advancements and changes in the digital landscape. He stated that while the book does not offer a comprehensive and definitive roadmap, it serves as a valuable tool, providing guidance and direction within the expansive and intricate realm of blockchain technology.

“It acts as a “compass” determining different directions in the space with specific details on how to possibly get there. As a compass, the book will act as a guide, leaving the decision on what path to choose to the reader but with a guide on how and what to expect getting to different parts of the space, no matter which direction to take.”
