Fortnite‘s next season, Chapter 2 Season 7 is right around the corner, with Season 6 receiving its final update this week.

LATEST – Season 7 Could Take Us Into The Future
Recently we have begun to see teasers of Aliens on the Fortnite map and they are set to come to the game in Season 7, abducting players during the match.
But, next month’s Crew Pack skin could further hint at a futuristic setting too.
Mecha Team Leader will be the Fortnite Crew Pack skin in June 2021 and it looks strikingly similar to Singularity, the secret skin for Chapter 1 Season 9.
Season 9 was when we saw a futuristic setting with Neo Tilted, Mega Mall, and the Slip Streams.
Could we see the Fortnite island go into the future after being plunged back to the stone ages this season?
The next Fortnite Crew Pack has been revealed after Epic Games teased it all throughout May with various loading screens.

Alien Focused Live Event
Since we’re now just a couple of weeks out from the start of Fortnite Season 7, the teases of what to expect from the live event have begun.
At this point, we know almost for certain that the theme of the season is aliens and space, having spotted various teases across the map and seen influencers sent teases in the form of DVDs and postcards.

Leakers have also suggested that UFOs will come to Fortnite’s island. Game files suggest that players will be abducted, healed, and sent to another part of the island.
We’d expect the event that’s set to end Season 6 and begin Season 7 will transport players somewhere, before being spat out to see all of the new content.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 Live Event Date
Season 7 of the battle royale is set to begin on June 8, so the live event should be around the same time, or maybe a day earlier.

It’ll lead Fortnite into a new era, likely changing parts of the map and focusing on a brand new theme.
That is all depending on whether Fortnite Season 6 gets extended this time around. If all runs to schedule, June 8 is when the Season 7 event should take place.
Theme
Primal is the theme of Season 6, with various animals roaming the map to help you craft weapons, so we’ll probably see something as “out there” for the game coming next season.
“Out there” is a good way to put it too, with the alien teases suggesting that outer space will be the theme of Season 7.
How to Play
As is always the case, you’ll be able to play the Fortnite Season 7 event if you log in shortly after the new season’s update goes live.
Just download the update, log into the battle royale section of the game, and load up a match. You should immediately be able to play the event, at the same time as everyone else.
