After missing the ESL Pro League Season 14 activity, Andreas “Xyp9x” Hjsleth will return to Astralis’ active CS: GO roster for the BLAST Premier Fall Groups, the organization announced today.
The Danish organization’s current roster includes:
- Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen
- Nicolai “dev1ce” Reedtz
- Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander
- Andreas “Xyp9x” Hjsleth
- Emil ‘Magiskb0Y’ Reif
- Markus ‘Kjaerbye’ Kjærbye
The changes come as Astralis is preparing to compete in the BLAST Pro Series: Copenhagen. The $500,000 tournament will run from October 2-6 and feature eight teams, with Astralis and Fnatic as first and second seeds. The first team to win three Bo3 series will advance to the finals.
Xyp9x earned his spot on Astralis by defeating Lukas “gla1ve” Rossander in a best-of-three series that lasted 2:44 in the FACEIT Major Main Qualifier playoffs. He will replace gla1ve as Astralis’ tenth player for its participation in BLAST Pro Series: Copenhagen.
