Paribus Embracing DAO transition.

In our journey of developing Paribus, we’ve received a lot of feedback from our community, primarily positive and helpful. But, as is often the case when a small team controls a platform, not everyone agrees with our decisions. At every step, we’ve tried to make the best choices based on the information we had. We’ve always known that, eventually, it would be the community’s turn to take the lead in guiding Paribus. And, as we announced in our recent X-space update, that time is approaching fast with the release of

Paribus on the Rise

The past few weeks have seen a whirlwind of activity for the team, bridging over to Cardano and raising awareness of Paribus. The upcoming weeks and months will be equally exciting as we are poised to deliver more elements from our roadmap. As more of the circulating PBX supply transitions to Cardano, we’ve been making strides toward getting the token listed on two more decentralized exchanges (DEXs). We’ll be able to announce each one as they launch, so stay tuned to our Discord, Twitter, and Telegram channels for the latest

Dynamic Rewards Unleashed

Following weeks of preparation and hard work, we’re incredibly excited to open the Paribus Mainnet v1 tomorrow. This marks the welcome return of our protocol and heralds the beginning of our rewards program. For those who participated in our staking program, the concept behind the rewards program will be simple to understand. We’ve allocated 100 million PBX tokens to be issued as rewards to borrowers on the platform. This concept is even more exciting because the rewards are scheduled to be released evenly across every block and are anticipated to

Paribus Vision

For those who missed our announcements on social media, we are thrilled to share the exciting news that our Mainnet v1 will be relaunched on May 31st! The past few weeks have been demanding and challenging, but we couldn’t be happier with our progress. At Paribus, we have always emphasized the importance of security. While we were shocked and saddened by the exploitation of a loophole in our code, we firmly believe in finding the silver lining in every cloud. The steps we’ve taken following this unfortunate incident have made

From Centralized to Decentralized

The issue of governance is a hot topic in crypto right now due in part to the regulatory clampdown that’s taking place in the US. However, the issue isn’t as simple and straightforward as some might imagine. Although it’s gaining popularity at present, it’s something that’s always been at the heart of our plans as Deniz, our CEO explains, “I believe that governance is a vital aspect of the Paribus vision and it will be very important to ensure our long-term success.” He adds, “The goal of transitioning into a

Paribus Mainnet Countdown.

We know the past few months have been drawn out for everyone eagerly awaiting the release date of our mainnet. Throughout each step, we’ve been direct and transparent with our community, and sometimes maybe a little too hopeful. But now the wait is over. Our developers have been working especially hard to meet the exacting requirements of the Hacken audit and we’re over the moon to have achieved a score of 8.7/10 which we feel represents the hard work of everyone involved. Now that we’ve passed with a high score

The Central Problem

The black swan events of LUNA and FTX that have so far characterized crypto in 2022 left many in the space wondering how we got here. What began as a quiet revolution focused on decentralization and financial sovereignty has been corrupted by greed and the centralization of power and control. If crypto has any hope of a future it can only be found in reaffirming the central tenets of decentralization and financial sovereignty. While the media claim these problems are the fault of a lack of regulation it’s worth considering

Rare Bloom 2022

Last weekend saw a host of Cardano community members and developers descend on the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center in Colorado for the first-ever Rare Bloom gathering. The two-day event featured presentations from key members of the community including the founder of Cardano, Charles Hoskinson. Both Deniz, our CEO, and Wilson, our COO attended the event to represent Paribus and strengthen our relationships with other projects. The concept behind Rare Bloom was for it to be, “a pioneering networking event, comprised of innovators, builders, entrepreneurs, creatives, marketers and educators.

Bugging Out

We’re pleased to announce that from today, October 13th 2022, Paribus will be launching our bug bounty program on ImmuneFi. The program will apply to our MVP even while it’s on the public testnet and should help to provide additional confidence when we’re ready to launch on the mainnet. Bug bounty programs are a crucial aspect of the ongoing maintenance and security of DeFi protocols. There are two main types of program, formal and informal. An example of an informal bug bounty program is the identification of several security vulnerabilities

Testing, Testing 3…2…1

Today marks the launch of our MVP on the Goerli testnet, the final phase of testing prior to its official launch. It’s been a busy time for our dev team as nothing in crypto is plain sailing and they’ve done an amazing job of bringing us to this point. (Testnet link located at the bottom of this article) A few weeks ago we launched our MVP to a limited selection of our community on the Rinkeby testnet. However, due to some limitations with Rinkeby, we decided to switch to Goerli

Going Native

A question that comes up regularly is when Paribus will transition to Cardano. Although we’ve answered this many times we recognize that every week new people join our community so we thought we’d take the time to cover the fundamentals of this issue once more. The first question we are often asked is why Paribus is an Ethereum-based token and platform if we’re building for Cardano. The reason is that when we launched our PBX token one year ago it was very difficult to access developers who could write code
