I was always fascinated by the brain, its power, and recoverability as I had a major head accident with brain damage when I was 7 months old. I don’t suffer from anything and recovered fully, thanks to my young age.

When I was at school I always dreamed of a chip that I could connect to my brain and learn languages and other skills like in the Matrix. What a very efficient way to learn. I mean how many books can you read or listen to? There’s always a limit but with the technology of Neuralink, we might be able to open new ways of learning.

At the moment Neuralink is focusing on helping people with paralysis and they are still in the research phase. With Neuralink they can regain control of a computer or mobile devices and maybe in the future they can regain the ability to walk.

Neuralink is just about to start with human testing. Elon Musk mentioned that the brain chips will be implanted into people for the first time at the end of 2021.

The Link is a starting point for a new kind of brain interface that will access more and more brain areas with the upcoming years of development. Neuralink says that this technology has the potential to treat a wide range of neurological disorders, to restore sensory and even movement function. It might be that this new technology allows us to communicate telepathically with each other.
