Fnatic bested Misfits Gaming in the LEC lower-bracket semi-final yesterday in what was a thrilling five-game series.

The London-based org kept its hopes of Worlds alive by beating an impressive Misfits team, and will face long-time rival G2 Esports on Sunday to determine which of the two will represent EU at the World Championships.

Fnatic’s titanic match against G2 tomorrow will be the lower-bracket final, with the upper-bracket final between MAD Lions and Rogue taking place today. The winner of G2 vs Fnatic, in addition to qualifying for Worlds, will go on to face the loser of MAD Lions vs Rogue. Three LEC teams in total will qualify for Worlds.

G2 Esports were knocked down to the lower bracket by MAD Lions last week, who beat them 3-1.

All eyes will be on Rogue vs MAD Lions today before shifting to what promises to be a banger game on Sunday between G2 and Fnatic.
