Aimei Health Technology Raises Deal Size 20% Ahead of $60M IPO | SPAC Feed

New SPAC Aimei Health Technology in an amended S-1 said it now plans to offer 6 million units at $10 yeach — up from the 5 million units initially registered in May. A unit now consists of one share and one right to receive one-fifth of a share (up from the original right for one-tenth of a share). warrants have been eliminated from the offering in this latest filing.

The SPAC plans to pursue targets that are focused on healthcare innovation. 

CEO and Director Juan Fernandez Pascual most recently served as general manager of Chassis Brakes International Spain, part of Hitachi Automotive Systems, from April 2019 to February 2021 and was based in San Felices de Buelna, Autonomía de Cantabria, Spain. Fernandez is COO of another SPAC, Genesis Unicorn Capital, which completed its $75 million IPO in February 2022.

Spartan Capital Securities is sole bookrunning manager.
