On August 3, an Air Algérie Boeing 737-800 (registered 7T-VKJ) operated flight AH1087 between Paris CDG, France, and Tlemcen, Algeria. After landing at Tlemcen, the aircraft hit a light pole and damaged its right winglet.

Mechanics were able to install a new winglet and on 5 August, the aircraft returned into service by operating a rotation between Algiers and Paris CDG.
