As posted early on December 20, 2023, on their “The Dark Place Travelers” Discord, Lethal Company Version 47 is largely a bug fix but with some bonus features. The statement can be found below:

I released Version 47 which is mostly a bug fix patch but has the new weekly challenge moons feature + tags for lobbies, which makes them visible only if you enter the tag on the server list. I am trying out releasing this update on the “public_beta” branch on Steam first so it can be tried out. (If this branch isn’t visible try restarting Steam)

How to update to Version 47 in Lethal Company

From your Steam library, select Lethal Company and check the following:

• Right-click the game from your library
• Go to ‘Properties’
• Hit ‘Betas’
• Under the Beta Participation drop-down menu, select ‘public_beta – For testing new versions’

If you’ve got the game installed after doing this, boot up and you should see ‘v47’ on the bottom-left of the screen.

What are the bug fixes for Lethal Company?

There haven’t been seemingly any specifics given on the bug fixes for the game, but I’ve not had any mentions of the ‘An Error Occurred’ issue lately. But given the game’s already steady performance, this is the most subtle part of the update.

This feature is simple. When you’re hosting, simply select Public and type in a unique tag people can use to join you whether they have you on Steam or not. To find it while joining, you can type in the tag you’re searching for and refresh the list. Additionally, you can check or uncheck the box to the right to enable Weekly Challenge Moons!

What are Challenge Moons in Lethal Company?

Weekly Challenge Moons are a feature you can enable next to the server tag box when joining other players or creating your server. This creates a moon with the same scrap distribution for all players who join, meaning it’s a great incentive to come back for something new. The highest-performing players can flex on the leaderboards, so it’s worth taking a look!

To create a server with this feature, you simply hit ‘Host’ and on the right, you’ll see it under your Save File menu, with the most recent one being ‘Tuo-3’ for instance. This will change weekly, and you have “one day and one attempt to make as much profit as possible.”
