Web3 god game Apeiron recently announced its partnership with Hong Kong’s Talon and Los Angeles-based United Esports to host the Apeiron x Talon Nova Tournament. The upcoming tournament features two conferences: the Eastern Conference (Asia) from April 4-6 and the Western Conference (Americas) from April 11-13.

Apeiron Tournament

According to the media release, each conference will host eight top players globally, aiming to showcase Apeiron’s competitive prowess to a worldwide audience.

The tournament will be in a double-elimination bracket format, featuring best-of-3 matches throughout, culminating in best-of-5 final matches. Participants will bring three decks, each assigned to a distinct Avatar. Once a deck secures a victory within a set, it becomes ineligible for further use. 

The total prize pool of $30,000 is evenly distributed between the two conferences. Top performers in the Apeiron competition can expect rewards ranging from $750 to $5,000.

The matches will be broadcasted live, accompanied by community watch parties hosted on the Aperion Discord server. 

Tournament Participants

The tournament is an exclusive event, with participation strictly by invitation. Fans play a significant role in the selection process by requesting their preferred Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to join. Accordingly, notable figures from both the Web2 and Web3 gaming communities have been invited to participate.

The East and West regions in Web2 feature prominent figures in gaming and streaming. From the East, Tsai “GreenTea” Shang-Ching, gamtoh, and Kitiphat “Cyberclasher” Kanjanapiphat, while the West showcases RobinSongz, Nemo, Deathsie, and Rdu. These participants bring expertise in various games, including League of Legends, TeamFightTactics, chess, card games, and Hearthstone.

For the web3 space, representing the East are individuals like Yellow Panther, the GamingGridX founder, Axie Infinity player 1437, GGChronicles’ raiden, and crypto gaming enthusiasts SynergyGuild and esushima. On the other hand, the Western segment includes content creators orangie and Brycent, US content creator rojan, Twitch streamer ralo, and METAT8 Esports founder Elijah Flowers.
