Apex Legends’ next character is Valk who will be heading to the game in Season 9 but we already have news of the potential Season 10 legend Pariah. The upcoming character was leaked multiple times in the past but recent datamined information revealed all of the legend’s abilities. Pariah is set to be a brand new recon legend who will allow players to see enemy health bars. The last time we got a recon legend was all the way back in Season 3 when Crypto was added in Season 3: Meltdown. Bloodhound outclasses the other recon legends and it will be interesting to see how Pariah holds up against the meta legends.
Apex Legends Pariah Leaks: Abilities
The upcoming legend is capable of passively seeing enemy health bars which would make them a great legend for chasing down low-health targets. The legend is also immune to stun effects which should mean you will not be stunned by arc stars, EMP and Pariah’s own ult. The upcoming legend’s ultimate cause burn damage that bypasses shields. The abilities can be changed in the future ahead of release but the
- Passive: Aplomb Training: Pariah can see enemy health bars. Pariah is also immune to stunning effects and SDM steam.
- Tactical: Sonar Grenade: Throw a sonar grenade revealing enemies in its area of effect. Grenade lasts for 15 seconds.
- Ultimate: Sacrificial Romantic: Pariah activates a SDM device releasing a flurry of steam in all directions but becomes unable to move. Steam causes burn damage directly to health.
In addition to the leaked abilities, Pariah should be able to scan beacons. The scan ability was previously limited to Pathfinder alone but Respawn eventually allowed all recon legends to scan beacons and find the next zone once per round. Pariah’s kit looks promising and they might be a great legend to unlock as a new player.
Apex Legends Pariah Leaks: Skins
Pariah will be getting a total of 40 skins just like every other legend. The four legendary skins which will be available at launch include:
- Secret Service
- Lost Archive
- Phantom Edge
- Chimera Effect
Apex Legends Pariah Leaks: Release Date
Dataminer Biast12 revealed that Valk is still going to be the next legend to release in Season 9, which means the earliest we will see Pariah is in Season 10. The new recon legend might shake up the Recon legend meta if the leaked abilities have been accurately described.
