Apex Legends Season 19 Ignite Patch Notes reveal nerfs for Catalyst while introducing a new support legend and include several updates Storm Point, weapon balance changes, a fresh battle pass and more.

Passive – Savior’s Speed
Conduit gains a short burst of speed when running toward a teammate beyond her Tactical range.

Tactical – Radiant Transfer
Conduit’s Tactical sends a blast of energy to a teammate which in turn generates temporary shields for them and the legend when in danger. This ability also heals a Red Shield.

Ultimate – Energy Barricade
Conduit deploys an array of shield-jamming devices that can damage and slow down nearby enemies. This ability deals damage to Enemy shields and HP.

Apex Legends Season 19 Ignite Patch Notes POIs

The Season 19 update adds several POIs to Storm point while making the map smaller in size to improve ‘mid-game’ pacing. Fans looking for early combat can find centralized hot drops on the new POIs such as Wattson’s Pylon, and more. Wattson’s Pylon is designed to encourage vertical cat-and-mouse gameplay usually seen on World’s Edge.

IMG 8991The developers have connected Zeus Station to Lightning Rod with a located on the farther side of the map. Prowler Island has been replaced with CETO Station, which is a basically a reworked iteration of the old POI with a hot drop located in the center of the POI. IMC Armories are packed with loot, but Spectres no longer exist to defend them. The removal of Spectre units from this POI will make it easier for players to grab the loot. The developers have also reworked the Forbidden Zone POI along with Lightning Rod, which has been reduced in size.

On the other hand, the patch also addresses several bugs, rat spots and known exploits in King’s Canyon and Olympus. Exploiters won’t be able to get underneath the map in Olympus as the latest update has deployed fixes for the same. Storm Point receives 2 mixtape maps based on Wattson’s Pylon and ZEUS station. Players can read more about the new POIs in detail on Respawn’s official site here.

Apex Legends Season 19 Balance Changes

The massive update ships a set of nerfs to Bangalore’s kit, reducing her Double Time Duration from 3 seconds to 2 seconds. The smoke duration of her smoke ability has also been reduced by 5 seconds, from 23 seconds to 18 seconds. In addition, her Rolling Thunder ability also ends up on EA’s nerf list, with the stun duration reduced from 8 seconds to 6 seconds.

Catalyst has her piercing spikes throw range cut in half to 50%, while her core remains vulnerable to bullets and projectiles, as the latest update allows them to pass through her core.

Apex Legends Season 19 Patch Notes also reveal changes that affect Catalyst’s wall-forming ability Dark Veil, making the wall last shorter by 5 seconds. Respawn reducing the overall lifteime from 30 seconds to 25 seconds. Also, the cooldown would now start after the wall is destroyed.

Apex Legends Season 19 Ranked Updates

Promotional Trials

One of the reasons behind the addition of Promo trials is to combat the increasing number of ‘ratters’ — players who hide in harder-to-reach areas of the map in order to escape gunfights, and then wait until the match ends to get their LP points up and advance to the next tier. The addition of skill-based challenges will require players to “earn’ their rank instead of going against the game to advance to the next ranked tier.

Here are the challenges players need to complete in order to move ahead to the higher-ranked tiers.

Apex Legends Season 19 Ignite Patch Notes

The Season 19 Update for Apex Legends lists fixes for a total of 19 bugs, including several other quality-of-life updates. For instance, the game’s anti-cheat has been updated, and the system will display a message in the kill feed upon banning a cheater from the game. The addition of this in-match notification intends “ to improve visibility and player feedback when users are actioned.” Players would no longer be able to use Phase Runner on Olympus to survive ring damage longer than expected. With this update, Heat Shields no longer stick to Tridents and the bug that caused them to provide protection above them on higher ground has also been fixed. Also, Loba’s tactical is no longer cancelled when thrown on a tower near Containment.

Besides, the patch also ships several quality-of-life updates such as native support for PS4 and PS5 Bluetooth-connected controllers. Players would no longer need to use Steam input in order to use Bluetooth-enabled controllers on PS4 and PS5. Pinging enemies is also easier as double-clicking the Ping Button will place an Enemy Ping on the map at that position.
