Abstract – The present chapter first examines online learning applications in K-12 education, addressing accessibility, mobility, and credibility. Next, the writing focuses on blended learning developments in primary and secondary education. Further, the author discusses the remote learning surge under the COVID-19 pandemic. After that, the chapter discusses current trends and issues concerning online learning in K-12 education. Finally, the chapter summarizes the critical issues addressed and highlights their implications for policy and practices.
