Aston Barclay appoints Dean Ashworth as new Wakefield centre manager

Aston Barclay has appointed Dean Ashworth as Wakefield’s auction centre manager.

With over two decades of experience in the automotive sector, Dean joins from Available Car, where he worked as general manager.

Prior to this, Dean held roles at Marshall Motor Group, Manheim and Inchape, working with brands such as Audi, Porsche and Volkswagen.    

His experience also includes the position of group buyer for Marshall Motor Group, where Dean was instrumental in sourcing and acquiring premium used Volkswagen and commercial vehicle stock, demonstrating his understanding of market conditions and competitor activity.   

Dean will work alongside the existing Wakefield centre team to further enhance the auction centre’s operations.
