One of the newest start-up carriers in the United States, Avelo Airlines has announced that it is expanding its route network and plans to offer a new service from Las Vegas McCarran International Airport (LAS) to Denver’s Northern Colorado Regional Airport (FNL) from December 15th. The carrier added that it plans to operate this route twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays using one of its Boeing Next-Generation 737-800 aircraft.

According to Avelo, flights to Las Vegas will depart at 12:05 in the afternoon and are scheduled to arrive at 13:00 at McCarran International Airport (LAS). In terms of the return leg, Avelo plans to have a 40 minute turnaround time with the flight departing Las Vegas at 13:40 with a scheduled arrival of 16:30 at Northern Colorado Regional Airport (FNL).

In a company statement, the Chairman and CEO of Avelo, Andrew Levy said, “We’re excited to add this popular route to Avelo’s Western U.S. network. Whether you’re arriving or departing, FNL is the ultra-convenient gateway to and from North Denver and Fort Collins.”

The start-up airline was also keen to point out that the carrier is the only airline that operates this route between these two airports, with the Chief Executive of Avelo stating that travelling between Las Vegas and Northern Colorado is “now easier and more affordable than ever.”
