Back 4 Blood Best Weapons: A shot of the M249 weapon in the menu.

M249

The M249 makes up the best of the best when it comes to weapons in Back 4 Blood. This LMG is absolutely stacked with bullets with 80 in the box magazine.

On top of that, you are also treated to a very stable and reliable recoil pattern on the first few shots, which means you can use this weapon to not only deal damage to one of the many tougher Ridden types in the game but also pick off regular grunts without needing to spray bullets everywhere.

Back 4 Blood Best Weapons: A shot of the M4 Carbine weapon in the menu.

M4 Carbine

The M4 Carbine is as solid of a weapon as you can get in Back 4 Blood. It is reliable, accurate and far more flexible than any other assault rifle.

With a decent starting magazine that can be expanded, ample attachment slots, and an insane level of accuracy and handling, the M4 Carbine is consistent and you can’t ask for much more than that.

Back 4 Blood Best Weapons: A shot of the M16 weapon in the menu.

M16

If you are looking for the most precise weapon in Back 4 Blood, may we present the M16. This assault rifle has virtually no knockback and recoil and is the perfect weapon to kill regular Ridden.

It isn’t the best when it comes to sustained damage output, but its high range and accuracy are what helps it stand out.

Back 4 Blood Best Weapons: A shot of the AA12 weapon in the menu.

AA12

Shotguns are a real mixed bag when it comes to Back 4 Blood, but based on what we have played so far, the AA12 automatic shotgun is the best option.

With its fast reload and ability to pump out shots consistently it is great for when you are being swarmed and decent at taking on larger Ridden which get too close.

Back 4 Blood Best Weapons: A shot of the UZI weapon in the menu.

UZI

SMGs tend to suffer from a large amount of recoil and a bit of unpredictability in Back 4 Blood. But one of Back 4 Blood’s best weapons all around is the UZI.

This SMG is the most accurate SMG, but also the most mobile. It is able to output a ton of bullets, while also being good at short small bursts of damage on Ridden or taking grunts out one by one. If you are looking to be agile, the UZI is a must.

Back 4 Blood Best Weapons: A shot of the Desert Eagle weapon in the menu.

Desert Eagle

Pistols aren’t a priority in Back 4 Blood, but one of the stronger ones is the Desert Eagle. Given its reputation, you would expect it to do a ton of damage, which it does, but it also benefits from some nice range boosts compared to other weapons in its class.

It is one of the slower pistols but if you are looking for accuracy it is a good backup to have on you.

Back 4 Blood Best Weapons: A shot of the TEC-9 weapon in the menu.

TEC 9

Looking for the default secondary weapon you should always be running? Look no further than the TEC 9.

This auto-pistol is a bullet machine and able to completely decimate Ridden if they are swarming you. You will burn through ammo relatively quickly, but it is trusty and able to output a nice amount of damage at a fast pace.
