Here is a list of all bosses in Banishers: Ghost of New Eden in order.

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is a brand third-person new action RPG game developed by Don’t Nod. The game was released on February 13, 2024, for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.

Upon release, the game has received great reviews from players. The game’s story and gameplay have been praised greatly. One other aspect of the game that has received great feedback is the bosses. Players will encounter numerous bosses across their journey in the main story.

We have decided to compile a list of all the bosses and leave short notes about their abilities. Most bosses aren’t that difficult to beat unless you are playing on the highest difficulty.

The bosses in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden are basically tougher and larger enemies with more health than your regular foes. Some of them are considered elites instead of bosses.

These enemies usually have their own mechanics. These can be memorized quite easily and then countered to beat the boss. Since we are mentioning the names and a short briefing about the bosses, it is good to mention that there will be spoilers to the game.

The Nightmare

The Nightmare is the first boss you will encounter in the game. You will find her in the New Eden Town meeting house. The Nightmare only has melee attacks which you can parry or dodge. She also has a spear she can throw, but that is quite easy to dodge as well. There is a section where she creates multiple copies of herself.

The thing about this fight is that you don’t really need to beat her. All you have to do is make it through the first phase, after which a cutscene will play.

Nicholas Doolan

This boss fight occurs while you are looking for The Beast. During the search, you stumble upon Doolan’s corpse. He has two wolves with him and a rifle which he fires at you.

The Beast

The Beast can be slightly more difficult compared to all the previous fights you’ve been in. He has some unique mechanics with him that make the fight unique. The fight also occurs in a foggy arena which makes it very hard to see.

Despite everything, The Beast has some obvious and glaring weak spots. These will be highlighted by a glow, usually on the head, front-right leg and back-left leg. Each will have their own phase. Shooting these spots will damage him.

The rifle is the most effective weapon for this boss. Since The Beast charges at you to attack, all you have to do is dodge and shoot the weak spots from a distance. If do get into melee range with him, try to get some hits in the weak spots.

Sorrow

The Sorrow shows up during The Swap Witch quest, where the Seeker helps you enter the void. You will encounter The Sorrow near the end of the void. The Sorrow is the first boss that will reappear again later in the story. It will have some pods surrounding it which you will have to destroy and some smaller minions.

Second Sorrow

After defeating the first Sorrow, you will reach the damaged bright that takes you to New Eden Town. From there you can either go North to Fort Jericho or South to The Harrows.

Going to The Harrows will lead you to the next mandatory boss fight, which is the second Sorrow. This fight works pretty much the same way as the previous one. Since this fight is in the real world instead of the void, the smaller minions will be a little bit stronger.

Clemency Gibbs

Inside the void, you can find Lammy Haskell and after meeting him when you return you will find yourself in a cave beneath the ship you found on the beach.

Inside the cave you can find Clemency Gibbs’s belongings, that’s when her reanimated corpse will attack you. She will have a long rake which she can use for long-range attacks and she can also summon specters to help her. However, she is very slow, so keeping yourself distanced and shooting her in the head will allow you to damage her severely.

Antipas Gibbs

After defeating Clemency Gibbs, you can encounter Antipas Gibbs after going a little deeper into the cave. Antipas will have two axes and ooze specters. He is also quite easy if you can dodge and parry his attacks.

Iniquitous Court

As you travel further inside the cave, you will find a feather in ooze which will spawn Clemency and Antipas Gibbs with Fairefax Haskell. The three together form the Iniquitous Court.

Alongside them, a shadow imitating all of Red’s tricks will appear as well who is one of the characters you play as. The second phase of the fight also has a shadow of Antea, who is the other character you can play as. You will take on both shadows simultaneously in the last phase.

Aul Saul

When you begin the Grief and Rancor Quest, you will head to Siridean’s Island. That is where you will have your next boss fight against Aul Saul, the same person who was giving Seeker grief. He will have a large sword and teleport abilities. He can also summon a horde of reanimated corpses and fire spectral birds.

Clouded Harvester

Heading North from the damaged bridge will lead you to the Cloud Harvest. He can also show up after finishing off Fairefax Haskell. Combat wise he is very similar to Aul Saul.

The Puppeteer

The Puppeteer is the next mandatory boss fight that appears in Fort Jericho. She is also the final boss of the Fort. You can find her at the very bottom of the mines. The Puppeteer is basically the spirit of Deborah Comenius chained to a large cavern. She can summon regular specters and a thick void.

Hoarding Harvester

In the quest, During Love Finds A Way, you will go back to the void to find Lammy’s book. There you will encounter the Hoarding Harvester, which will be exactly the same as the Clouded Harvester fight.

Nazuku

Nazuku is one of the more difficult bosses in the game. Reaching it means you are very close to the end of the game. It can regenerate its health from Sorrow pods around it.

Despite being quite slow, it has ranged attacks and can spawn regular specters. The second phase is pretty much the exact same as the first one where it regenerates health from pods.

The Nightmare

The Nightmare, which was the first boss you will have faced in the game makes a return. You will have to return to the meeting house to fight her again. Her abilities are pretty much the same as before, however, this time there will be no cutscene. She will have the same tricks, multiple clones and melee attacks

Retribution

After defeating The Nightmare, you will face her again, but this time she comes back as Retribution. Here is much more aggressive, even though there is not much change in the fight. There are some new tricks she can do though, like her ability to shoot chains from the floor and spray ooze at her target. During the third phase, she rides The Beast from before, which remains invisible for most of the fight.
