Baraka, Li Mei, and Tanya Konfirmed in New Mortal Kombat 1 PS5 Trailer

A trio of Mortal Kombat 1 fighters have been revealed in an action-packed trailer, with Baraka, Tanya, and the oft-overlooked Li Mei all joining the lineup. Fans will obviously be familiar with Baraka, while Tanya was last seen in Mortal Kombat X. But it’s Li Mei who will require a better memory: she was last playable in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon on the PS2!

The trailer also pulls back the curtain on some of the game’s plot, with Mileena and Kitana seemingly part of Edenian royal family, and protected by the all-female Umgadi. Piecing together the trailer, it looks like Tanya is the leader of the Umgadi, while Li Mei was banished at some point. We can’t wait to play the full game!
