Auction house BCA is reporting a strong first quarter of 2024 with several significant business wins and renewals early in the year representing a further 75,000 vehicles from the franchised and non-franchised dealer sectors.

The business has renewed its auto services solutions contracts with BMW Group UK, which includes its specialist leasing business, Alphabet, for a further five years.

Exclusive remarketing agreements included a two-year deal with JCB Group, the Kent and Sussex based multi-franchise dealer representing over 2,500 vehicles annually and Sinclair Group, the largest motor group in Wales with over 20 retail sites, which has renewed its long-standing partnership with a 2-year agreement to remarket 4,000 vehicles.

Renault Retail has also agreed a two-year exclusive remarketing partnership with BCA representing 7,000 units, John Clark will remarket around 3,000 vehicles with BCA having signed a one-year exclusive deal and JCT has confirmed a two-year exclusive remarketing agreement with BCA to handle 9,000 units.

Eden Group, which operates over 20 dealerships across the south of the UK representing Vauxhall, Mazda, Hyundai, MG, and Peugeot alongside its approved used network, has agreed a three-year remarketing renewal with BCA, handling around 3,000 vehicles annually.

Ancaster Group has agreed a 3-year exclusive remarketing arrangement with BCA, offering around 6,000 vehicles over the duration of the deal and Sandal BMW has agreed a new exclusive 12-month agreement with BCA to remarket around 1,000 vehicles.  Late last year Richard Hardie, the north-eastern dealer group, agreed an exclusive one-year remarketing deal with BCA.

Dealer groups nationwide continue to adopt BCA Dealer Pro, the easy to use vehicle appraisal app that allows for the part-exchange process to be managed quickly and efficiently, whether in the showroom or remotely.

Craig Purvey, BCA chief commercial officer, commented: “BCA has won and retained business representing around 75,000 vehicles in recent weeks and this reflects our innovative and flexible approach to developing partnerships that really meet the needs of our customers. With our online sales programme offering thousands of vehicles each week, our buyer customers can be confident that they will be presented with the stock they need, when they need it.”
