February 24th marks two years of the Russian-Ukrainia war. In the last two years, millions of Ukrainians have been displaced from their homes, and businesses have been forced to close their doors. In light of these challenges, Binance Charity. the philanthropic arm of the world’s largest crypto exchange Binance, is stepping up to launch an initiative aimed at aiding and uplifting Ukrainians impacted by the conflict through entrepreneurship.

Today, Binance Charity announced it has partnered with the non-profit Superhumans Foundation to launch educational programs aimed at aiding Ukrainians impacted by war. With a dedicated fund of $150,000, the projects aspire to provide new opportunities for individuals affected by conflict, empowering them to establish businesses independently.

At the heart of these initiatives is an intensive entrepreneurship program tailored for aspiring business owners and graduates eager to establish or expand their enterprises. The program spans three days of comprehensive training, supplemented by a month of mentoring support, and is set to recur every two months. Organizers anticipate that approximately 100 participants, including both civilians and veterans, will complete the program, with an estimated 30% of them expected to launch their own businesses subsequently.

The educational initiative takes the form of an intensive entrepreneurship program tailored for aspiring entrepreneurs and graduates seeking to initiate or expand their businesses. This three-day course, supplemented by a month of mentoring support, is scheduled to recur every two months. The program is anticipated to graduate around 100 participants, comprising both civilians and veterans. An estimated 30% of the graduates are expected to launch their businesses subsequently.

A distinct peer-to-peer approach is designed specifically for veterans discharged from the military, aiming to establish veteran communities in their local areas. The objective is to train 50 veterans who will create their groups by the end of 2024. Following successful implementation at the Superhumans Center, there are plans to extend this peer-to-peer system to reach an unprecedented number of 100,000 veterans within the next three years.

In addition to the educational initiatives, a social franchise for war victims and veterans will be established. This initiative aims to support victims of war, including both civilians and veterans, who aspire to start their businesses. The effort is crucial in fostering entrepreneurial spirit and integrating their skills into civilian life. The Education Center will also provide dedicated spaces for these individuals, offering a conducive environment for networking, personal development, and interactive educational activities.

Kyrylo Khomiakov, Binance’s Regional Head for CEE & Central Asia, expressed the importance of extending aid to war victims, emphasizing the commitment to supporting the Superhumans Center. He believes that this initiative and investment will generate opportunities for individuals to start new chapters in their lives.

“Extending aid to war victims is an essential measure to facilitate their healing, recovery, and prosperity. We are privileged to unite with Superhumans in providing this assistance and optimism to individuals who have gone through terrible suffering. Binance Charity has resolved to support the Superhumans Center, an organization dedicated to offering Ukrainian war victims the prospect of a renewed, fulfilling life. We remain steadfast in our belief that our initiative and investment will generate opportunities for numerous individuals to kick-start new chapters in their lives,” Khomiakov said.

Olga Rudnieva, CEO of the Superhumans Center, highlighted the partnership’s focus on veterans’ reintegration into civilian life, emphasizing the significance of providing not only medical services but also stable sources of income, social interaction, and a sense of purpose for individuals with disabilities.

“Superhumans Center is happy to announce our partnership with Binance in the area of veterans’ reintegration into civilian life. It’s important not only to give people the best prostheses and highest-quality rehabilitation – we aim to ensure that they have a reason to leave their apartments. Mobility and independence for people with disabilities are not only about medical services, it’s also about having a stable source of income, interacting with colleagues, and feeling needed in society,”Rudnieva said.

The collaboration between Binance Charity and the Superhumans Foundation aims to make a positive impact on the lives of war-affected individuals, fostering recovery, prosperity, and renewed hope.
